K-38 Consulting is honored to be providing interim controller services to Wyatt-Quarles Seed in Garner, North Carolina. The current controller went out on leave unexpectedly due to unforeseen circumstances. The company saw an immediate need to engage an interim controller until a more permanent solution could be found and was referred to K-38 Consulting.

Dallas Alford, the Partner providing the interim controller services, notes that the company has a rich North Carolina heritage and has been passed down several family generations. The origin of Wyatt-Quarles Seed Company dates back to 1881 when Job P. Wyatt and Philip Taylor organized a general merchandise business on East Martin Street in Raleigh. At first the company sold groceries, hardware, seeds and general merchandise. Later, groceries were dropped and the company began to wholesale hardware, farm machinery and seeds with William L.
